The Men’s Health Breakfast is from 9 a.m. to noon on April 23 at Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church, located at 708 N. Fifth St., Steubenville. This event is for men only and provides an opportunity for men to share their stories and concerns with other men, alongside the presence of health professionals.

This event serves as a precursor to a Men’s Prostate Screening, which will occur on April 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Road, Steubenville.

The screening is free and open to the public.

Registration is already under way for this screening for men ages 40 and older. The deadline to register is April 19. Men interested in this free screening are asked to contact Barb Steitz, Patient Navigator, at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, at (740) 264-8207.

The Urban Mission is grateful for the partnership we share with Women In Action Against Cancer Coalition of Jefferson County as they cover the cost of the men’s prostate screenings.
