Our Focus Areas
Food
Food is life, and our programs that provide healthy and wholesome hot meals and groceries are geared to not only meet an immediate need, but also strive to teach sustainable living practices. Food will always be a part of our ministry because it brings people together, creates community and goes far beyond nourishing our bodies.
Spiritual Care
We believe that a relationship with God is key to living a life of wholeness. In all we do, we seek to glorify God and bring others closer to God. We seek to provide opportunities for others to come into contact with God and experience God’s grace and mercy through our weekly worship services and Bible studies.
Community Building
Our ministry is only as strong as the community we serve in. We believe in empowering those who live around us and seeing possibility where others might not.
In addition to daily community building, we also gather the community together through events such as our Back to School Bash, Minority Health programs, Hunger Action Month events & Christmas holiday celebrations.
Housing
Housing can provide stability to someone living in poverty. Through our shelters and on site social worker, we help others reclaim a sense of home by helping them find a place to call their own -for good.
Jobs
Without meaningful work, one may experience a loss of purpose and dignity. Our Jobs for Life program provides hands on training program for individuals seeking to make a better life for themselves through work.
