JOSHUA Homeowner Applications NOW available.

The JOSHUA Program (Journeys of Service Helping Upper Appalachia) assists low-income homeowners in making home repairs free of charge.

Volunteers from all over Ohio and nearby states travel to Steubenville to assist families in need during the summer months.

The projects volunteers complete include interior and exterior painting, landscaping, porch and stair repair and other small home improvements.

Applications for the Robert E. Hutton Memorial Scholarship NOW available. 

Each year the Urban Mission provides scholarships to area low-income students.

The Hutton House scholarship, named for a former Executive Director has assisted over 75 youth and adults since its inception.

Upcoming High School graduates as well as adult learners are invited to apply.

Candidates must demonstrate financial need and be accepted into an accredited institute of higher learning, amongst other criteria.
