Results of God's Love
Quite
simply, Urban Mission is an expression of Gods love for
the least of these. Thanks to you, we have completed
another banner year of service to the low income population of
the Upper Ohio Valley! In our continuing effort to tell
the story of where your dollars and volunteer hours go,
Urban Mission is pleased to report the following ministry results
for year 2007:
Awards
- Franciscan
University "Poverello" Medal for service to the poor
through Christian Charity.
- Urban
Mission received national recognition through the Point
of Light Award for excellence in community service.
- Second
Harvest Food Bank Award for most diverse set of services.

Summer Work Camp
- 12
groups (314 people) from Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, New York and all over Ohio completed
89 repair projects(7,409 hours of service) for 26 low-income homeowners, community and Urban Mission.
